The collection © Simon Bang’s Children’s Drawings consists of over 3000 drawings,
paintings and graphic
works from 1965 until 1979. All works are made by the same child, the boy Simon Bang, between the ages
of 5 and 18.
It is a unique collection that makes it possible to follow the child’s visual development during
this period almost day by day, to gain an insight into the tasks he set himself and his struggles with subjects,
techniques and materials and to see what inspired him, from cartoons and movies to politics and his own
surroundings.
